FOX THEATRE
Brochure Design
As part of a group project, my contribution was to create a brochure for The Fox Theatre in Detroit. This brochure design focused on the history and beautiful architecture of the theatre using ornate decorative borders that resembled its interior. The color scheme came from the slogan that we created ("Detroit's Crown Jewel") as well as from the details inside the building like the red carpet and gold pillars.
SPACE MARATHON
Brochure Design
The design of this brochure focused on emphasizing the space theme of the Space Coast Marathon through the vector illustrations and typefaces. Since much of the information focused on general information about the marathon, I felt that taking their space theme and running with it (ha! a pun!) wouldn't take away from anything. Treating the marathon information with the space theme like giving location coordinates to planet earth made the marathon seem very fun and inviting, especially for newcomers.
